Ed Gonet has been in business since 1995 and resides in Springfield, Illinois, a town steeped in history. One of the first to take a one-on-one master’s class with Mike MacNeil, Ed explored the rich history of faux painting where and learned techniques from Thomas Kershaw, a famous marbler and grainer of the mid 1800’s. Ed was given access to Thomas Kershaw’s recipes, which he has been playing with and tweaking in every way an artist does until they become their own. After hours of perfecting the recipes, he developed results he was thrilled with and continues to use successfully to this day.
Through step-by-step instruction, Ed will teach the formulas he uses to create a foundation of wood graining and marbling that most people will never come across through books. There isn’t anything like the concepts he is doing.
