Trained by world-renowned masters, Chris Burke has an expertise reflecting more than two decades of experience in the art of decorative painting. He started painting under his father’s tutelage 30 years ago, restoring homes from the 1800s. For the past 20-some years, he’s been operating a residential and commercial faux finish business.
Whether creating or matching unique faux finishes or duplicating intricate marbles and fine woods, Burke’s talent marks him as a true artisan. Born and raised in metropolitan Washington, D.C., he now resides with his family in Leesburg, Virginia. His Mr. Faux Studio, which opened its doors about a year ago, now holds classes and employs a crew of six.
